View of the Bouillouses lake and dam
At a 2,017 m altitude, the damp is the meeting point for the trekkers in direction of mountains Carlit and Pérics, Puig de la Cometa, of Lanoux, Rock d'Aude. This artificial lake is 2,500 m length and has a surface of 150 ha. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century for the regulation of the flow of the Tet river and for electricity production for the Yellow Train.
